Baltray Outing – 18 June 2021

As advised in our last newsletter, our first outing this year (and our first outing since 2019) will be in Baltray on Friday 18 June 2021, one of the society’s all-time favourites. As already mentioned, the course is in fantastic condition and this is one not to be missed. This outing is once again kindly sponsored by Mick Slein & National Lighting and we will also be playing for the society Memorial Trophy.

Tees are booked from 9.30am to 12.20pm.

Green Fee is €65 which includes your two’s entry and charity contribution.

Format is singles stableford in 3-balls.

Baltray have advised that there will be breakfast baps available and there will also be food available after golf – all with outdoor seating obviously. This gives us the opportunity to have an outdoor prize presentation also, so make sure you hang around after golf! Let’s hope the weather obliges.

As always, please check in with starter Bryan Kenny no later than 15 minutes before your designated tee time, who will provide you with your scorecard & current CCGS handicap.

SIGN ON & PAYMENT

The committee have agreed upon the following arrangements for sign on and payment. Unfortunately, we will not be in a position to accept cash as payment for the outing.

Firstly, sign on is available form Tuesday 8 June to Friday 11 June inclusive, by email only. We are asking that you request either an early, mid or late slot only please. Please email Sean at sg@ccgs.ie requesting your desired slot and preferred 3-ball, or 2-ball, if you have a preference. Sean will do his best, as always, to accommodate all requests!

At the same time, please immediately transfer your green fee (and for your playing partners as you may arrange) to the society bank details, as below. Please ensure you include a unique reference with your transfer to the CCGS bank account and also advise Tony Walshe accordingly at walshemt@eircom.net.
