Newsletter April 2026

The committee has taken the decision to purchase a Defibrillator. This is to be taken to all Clontarf Castle Golf Society outings in 2012 & into the future. We are recommending that all members of the golf society get training on how to use the defibrillator. We are in the fortunate position that CCGS member Noel Cunningham (and member of The Dublin Fire Brigade) has offered to conduct a series of training sessions, with the purpose to educate as many CCGS members as possible in the use of the defibrillator.
The first training session for members will take place this Saturday 4th February from 9.30am – 1pm. Members are asked to get in touch ASAP with Michael Brennan & let him know that you would like to get training in the use of the defibrillator. There is a limit of 12 people for each training session. Other training sessions will be organised as required & your HonSec will remind you of furture training dates.
Remember, First Aid training such as this may help you to save a friends life.
