Following on from our very successful trip to Kerry the committee are delighted to announce details of our October Trip. The society travels to Girona to play Spain’s no. 1 ranked golf course, PGA Catalunya Stadium course on Thursday 4th Oct and the highly rated Tour course on Saturday 6th Oct; with the first tee 11.00 both days. We are fully booked with 56 travelling. With such a big group, the committee would really appreciate if you would study the information below and react in a timely fashion please. If you are not booked and would like to go on a waiting list, please inform Tony Buckley.

Members travelling have all paid €100 deposit The balance of €460 plus any extras is now due for payment. Members can pay at Mt Juliet sign on or by Bank Transfer to CCGS bank a/c. Please ensure you include your name your name and reference Girona payment on bank transfer. Please also text Tony when/if paying by Bank Transfer. Clubs are extra and members have 2 options – hire from Clubs to Hire through Mick Kenny – who will be doing the usual group booking at a discount price – or book your own golf clubs on the flight. We will be giving everybody the flight booking details to check in online & book clubs in due course.

Extras
We have a limited amount of single rooms available at additional cost of €128 for the 4 nights. We also have 3 options for your entertainment on the free day, Friday.
1. Extra game of golf at Torremirona GC, with transfers & buggy cost is €110.
2. Segway Tour – 45 minutes guided tour followed by Lunch in Txalaka restaurant. Tour is around the Old City including the Cathedral, Jewish quarter, Carolingian city wall, St Félix… all will get a 10 min Segway demo before tour, cost is €50
3. Lunch only in Txalaka restaurant €20, 3 course with a glass vino.
