Dear Member.

Our most recent outing to Royal Dublin to celebrate our Captain Michael Norton was a show stopper and yet another great day out for the society. The course, the catering and the entertainment (mostly provided by our esteemed Captain) were first class. His support act was pretty good as well.
Our thanks to Michael and Norton Fuels for the wonderful prizes and the mug for everyone in the audience.

MOUNT JULIET
A firm society favourite that we have been fortunate enough to have played for many years.
We have as usual a full time-sheet for this outing which takes place this coming Saturday.
The time-sheet is available to view on the website.
Our thanks to Brendan Fagan and Stock Design for their generosity in once again sponsoring the Mount Juliet outing.
We aim to have the prize presentation at the golf club within 30 minutes of the last members completing their round.

FINALLY
The death has occurred of Martin Fitzgerald retired company secretary of Clontarf Castle. Martin was a former society member who provided us with great support in our formative years without which we would not have the golf society we have to-day.
In our tenth anniversary year Martin who was Honorary secretary in the K Club organized an outing that is still talked about by those members who were fortunate enough to be there.
He will be fondly remembered by all of the members who enjoyed a pint or two with him at the bar in Clontarf Castle.
May he rest in peace.

Michael Brennan
Honorary secretary
