MOUNT JULIET & PENA LONGA
Dear Member,
Tadgh O’Meara’s performance at Mount Juliet could be described as a landslide victory over the rest of the field. Scoring a massive 43 points, five clear of his nearest rival Tony Casey with Conor Gallagher claiming third place a further shot back.
Seems like a day out for the big hitters as all of the aforementioned are renowned for their ability to smack the ball a considerable distance down the fairway.
Bearing in mind that the course was a bit on the damp side combined with tricky pin positions it was a superb performance by Tadgh to win the Stock Design outing kindly sponsored by Brendan Fagan.
Congratulations to all of the participants who got into the winners enclosure on what has been described as a tough test of golf.
As usual no one went home empty handed thanks to the kindness and generosity of sponsor Brendan Fagan.
