Next up is the eagerly awaited trip to The K Club for our Captain’s Day on Friday 17 August.  Sign-on is Thursday 9 August at 8.00pm to 9.30pm.  Tee is booked from 11.00am to 2.00pm.  Coaches will be provided and depart Clontarf Castle at 9.00am sharp and we will take numbers at sign-on night.  Cost to members will be €85 at sign-on, which includes golf, coach, dinner, 2’s and charity fund.  Please report to starter Bryan Kenny a minimum of 15 minutes in advance of your tee time.

We intend to take a group photo on the day and your cooperation with this will be much appreciated.  We will assemble at 7.15pm, further advice on the day.

We meet for drinks upstairs at 7.30pm followed by dinner at 8.00pm in the Palmer Room along with prizegiving and entertainment.  The dress code for dinner is a jacket and no jeans, please.

A reminder also that to compete for the main prize members must have played in two outings this year.

Our 30th Anniversary celebration dinner in Yangs will be on Friday 7 September, following our outing to Druids Glen.  Don’t forget that you have the opportunity to choose your seating preference for this at Captain’s sign-on night 9 August.   The cost for golf plus dinner for two will be a lip-smacking €80!

IMPORTANT: One space has become available for the away trip and anyone interested should contact Tony Buckley 0862411630 as soon as possible.  Dates are 3 – 7 October.  First come, first served!

There will be no golf clubs available to hire and therefore you will need to book your clubs on your flight.  All who are travelling will have received an email from Tony Buckley advising of your flight details and instructions regarding booking golf clubs and online check-in closer to the date.
