Mount Juliet is without doubt a fantastic venue for an outing and we are most fortunate to have been in a position to include this course in our calendar of events for the past number of years. The annual CCGS Stroke-play Cup was keenly contested during our visit in July.

Sponsored by Brendan and Kate Fagan and Stock Design we are, as ever, extremely grateful for the wonderful prizes. Indeed no one goes home empty handed when Stock Design sponsor an outing, as Brendan always produces a little something for everyone who plays.

Kevin Maher is this years winner of the Strokeplay Cup and Gold medal. Kevin carded a very respectable 69 just one shot clear of newcomer Mantan Walshe, winner of the Silver medal, with veteran Sean Guirke winning the Bronze medal (that must be his fifth one).

DRUIDS GLEN
It has been quite a few years since we last played at Druids Glen and we are looking forward to returning to another Irish Open venue to play in the Stephen Mooney & Joe O’Flaherty sponsored event on the 15th. of August.

The time-sheet will be available Thursday the 7th. of August from 8.00pm until 9.30 pm.
The green-fee which includes a burger at the 10th. is great value at €40. provided you pay at time-sheet night. Payment received after 9.30. and up to the day of the outing will cost €50
The tee is booked from 11.00am until 1.00 on Friday the 15th. August.
Please note that the prize giving will take place in the Knights Bar at Clontarf Castle at 8.30pm (approx.) following the outing

THE BRIAN BORU TROPHY
This event will take place on Friday the 26th. of September. Manager Michael Norton will select his team based on the best three cards returned in the current season subject of course to the availability of those who qualify.
