April 2024 Newsletter

Dear Member,

Sutton

We had a wonderful first outing of the year in a welcome return to Sutton GC, kindly sponsored by Cian Bennis of Skoda & Annesley Williams along with Aubrey Woolfson. The club laid on a delicious breakfast bap and we had a lovely meal after our golf for the prize presentation.  The weather was kind for the most part and the course was very well presented, particularly the greens, which were rolling beautifully.

Congratulations to Larry Gordon who won the outing with a superb score of 39 points.  Larry also wins the Memorial Trophy and reminded us of why that was so important to him, with his great friend and past member Liam Mullaney being one of the more recent names engraved on the trophy.  Very well done also to John Healy & John Oppermann with 38 & 37 points respectively in 2nd & 3rd place.  Full results as follows:

The Memorial Trophy Winner 2024 – Larry Gordon (27) 39pts
