CCGS Away Trip 2015

Our away trip this October is to Quinta Do Lago in Portugal, 4 nights from Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th October 2015, Staying in Hotel Vila Gale Ampalius in Villamoura, we are playing two of the Quinta Do Lago courses, Laranjal and Quinta South.
We are hoping to offer this to members at a cost of €475, but this is only available if we book flights NOW, during the Aer Lingus sale. The package includes, flights, 2 golf with buggies and transfers to courses, buffet Breakfast each day, Saturday night presentation meal and complimentary tickets to the European Tour, Portuguese Masters being played at Victoria that week-end. Clubs to Hire will be offering a special on Clubs at €45.
I am sure you will agree this is a sensational package being offered at an incredible price but we need to book seats now to cement this offer. Thurs 8th Oct:  Laranjal     11:20/12:40 incl buggy and hotel transfer
Voted Best Golf Course at the Portuguese 2011 Travel Awards. Boasting some spectacular fairways and well-defined greens, Laranjal is renowned for its five beautiful lakes and its abundance of umbrella pines, cork and orange trees.
At 6,480 meters in length, the course is challenging and it demands the highest levels of concentration and accuracy. Its distinctive rolling terrain has been expertly designed and manicured to provide a world class golfing experience.
Comprising five par 5s, eight par 4s and five par 3s, the course is sown with Bermuda grass on the fairways and Penn A4 on the greens, guaranteeing excellent putting surfaces throughout the year.

Friday 9th Oct : Free day with complimentary tickets to Portuguese Masters, won by Shane Lowry in 2012 and all going to plan, Paul McGinley will be playing, sure he may even drop in and join us for a pint over the weekend!

Sat 10th Oct : Quinta South  12:48/14:08 incl buggy and hotel transfer, presentation meal in Vilamoura Port at 9 pm
The jewel in the Quinta do Lago crown, the South Course has played host to the Portuguese Open no less than eight times. The favourite course of many European tour players, it is a 6,500 metre par 72 set amongst umbrella pines, lakes and wild flowers, overlooking the spectacular scenery of the Ria Formosa National Park.
Sun 11th Oct : Free day with complimentary tickets available to the final day of the Portuguese Masters, return Aer Lingus flight is 21.00.
