Kevin Maher wraps up the title in style

Kevin Maher made sure no one was going to catch him in the final round of the Player of the year Trophy at Portmarnock Links last Saturday. With a score of 38 points he won the East Coast Fisheries sponsored outing which automatically put his name on the Player of the Year Trophy, For the record he was eight points clear of runner up Noel McGrane.

The weather gods once again looked favourably on the 66 plus members who played our final outing of the year at Portmarnock Links.

It has to be said that throughout the current season the lack of umbrellas at all of our outings was an absolute pleasure. Definitely not the best year to go into the umbrella/rain wear business.
